🥧 With the temperature dropping June is definitely Pie Time in the Highlands. Pie & pinot, pie & bubbles, pie on a plate or takeaways on the pie trail are a few of the yum options on offer. A quartet of mini pies matched to their cool climate wines at Cherry Tree Hill Wines will surely help to warm things up. Some of our favourite local pie providores all year round include Exeter General Store, Potter’s Pantry Bundanoon and Gumnut Patisserie.
đź›´ Lots of great outdoor & indoor adventures for the kids to choose from: Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventures, Shibumi Equestrian, Bundanoon Skate Park, Empire Cinema, Tenpin Bowling at Mittagong, Bradman Museum & BYO bike or trike to the deliciously sunny and flat Bong Bong Common for starters.
🎨 Looking forward to meeting wonderful local artists and creatives in their studios over the June long weekend in the first of the Southern Highland Collective Popup Projects for the year. Workshops, talks & all manner of creative works will be on display and for sale. Check the flyer and map for more details re the woodturner, potters, fashion designer and artists who will be opening their Studio doors June 11 for 3 days.
