We wanted to have a getaway that was peaceful & relaxing…but also have my 2 boys explore nature & not want to just go straight for technology…& this place did that! Margot’s place had it all! My boys absolutely loved the opportunity to feed the sheep & alpaca and explore the Woodlands land. Seeing the many kangaroos & bunnies were just a bonus. Cute cafes close by that had a good selection of delicious food. Woodlands was so clean & had everything we needed. Margot was very friendly & answered any questions we had. If you can, go for a walk on Margot’s land when the sun is setting…it is just stunning!

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Exeter and the delightful Woodland Studio. Our two miniature schnauzers also had a ball. Margot is the perfect host and the accommodation is just excellent. Highly recommended for anyone wanting quality beautiful accommodation in the Highlands. Margot and Phil’s property is also glorious. You must also say hi to their sheep and Audrey, the Alpaca!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Woodland Studio & wow – it is just beautiful! Such an amazing space on a gorgeous farm, we even got to meet the resident sheep and alpaca. It was so comfortable, private, roomy & well appointed. Waking up to sunshine coming through the skylight was a highlight of the stay. Margot & Phil provided fantastic recommendations of what to see & do whilst in the area. We left feeling rejuvenated from our stay & would highly recommend the space.

Margot & Phil immediately made us feel welcome. They were great communicators, had helpful suggestions, & were very friendly. The accomodation was lovely & provided us with all the comforts & convenience of our own home. We grilled steaks in our personal garden/paddock that doubled as a run for our small pups (no squeezing through the fences there!). We loved feeding the sheep & alpaca with Margot & Phil in the morning. The location could not have been better, as we had a wedding to attend at Somerly House in Sutton Forest. The home is located close to Bundanoon, Moss Vale, & Berrima too. I highly recommend!

We had the most wonderful stay at woodland studio! Margot and Phil were fantastic, kind hosts and the studio was very spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished – they’ve really thought of everything. Biggest highlight was taking the kids to feed the sheep and Audrey the alpaca everyday, not to mention visiting the gorgeous lambs that had just been born. Breakfast provisions were generous too. It really was such a perfect escape for our family, and we will definitely be back!

We had an amazing time – the studio was beautiful, stylish & so well thought through. Our little one loved spending time going on the tractor to feed Audrey the alpaca & the resident sheep. Margot & Phil were so accommodating and very responsive. We will definitely be back!

Picture perfect farm stay on the beautiful southern highlands. Studio cottage felt magazine worthy. Kids loved the sheep and guardian alpaca. Generous lovely host, accommodation had everything you could possibly need. Prepare to enjoy a sleep in! Great cafes and bush walks nearby, Exeter is a little gem.

We had an amazing stay at Woodland Studio! We especially appreciated how dog-friendly the accommodation was – our doggo had a blast exploring the farm with us! We loved getting to know the resident animals – feeding the sheep & the alpaca was a highlight for our son. The surrounding area was also a joy to explore, with plenty of beautiful walks and charming villages to discover. But what really made our stay so special was the warmth & hospitality of Margot & Phil. They were always available to answer questions or offer suggestions & went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable & enjoyable stay. We left feeling refreshed & relaxed. Highly recommended.
